Do we like Vegetta777 (Samuel de Luque)?

Our score: 6 out of 10. No harmful words or company found and a long clean run in family-friendly gaming, but little verified good and an unresolved tax dispute keep it mid-range.

Samuel de Luque, better known as Vegetta777, is one of Spain's biggest gaming YouTubers. He studied to be a nursing assistant before YouTube, started with console gameplay, and became a Minecraft institution with series like Planeta Vegetta and Karmaland. He also co-wrote the Wigetta kids' book series with fellow creator Willyrex.

The one real stoush on his record is about money, not behaviour. He moved to Andorra in the mid-2010s, as did a stack of other big Spanish creators. A 2021 report said six of Spain's ten most-followed YouTube accounts had acknowledged paying tax there, naming him as a notable example.

In December 2025 Spain's central tax tribunal ruled that he and Willyrex must pay tax in Spain for 2016 and 2017, and the tax agency argues their economic interests stayed tied to Spain. Their lawyers called the rulings “manifiestamente injustas”, saying the agency itself accepts they spent more days in Andorra than in Spain. No court has decided it, and the appeal is still pending.

On the harm test, the search came up clean. We found no posts or speeches from him against LGBTQ+ people, women, migrants or science, no conspiracy rabbit holes, and no work with people who push that stuff. His public output is mostly Minecraft series with other creators, so the honest caveat is that the reporting says little either way.

On the good-stuff side, fans love him for years of kid-friendly content, and the profile of him notes he adjusts his language in videos because children watch. We couldn't verify any charity drives or causes, so we won't invent them. He seems to be a hard worker who has kept making things for well over a decade.

In his own words he comes across as low-key. On a Twitch stream in early 2025 he said a Karmaland comeback would need every original creator on board, and that he was trying a new kind of Minecraft project. Nothing there to alarm anyone.
