Do we like Squeezie?
Our score: 8 out of 10. Decent and on the right side for years, with a messy 2018 tweet and a lost business dispute as the only real marks.
Lucas Hauchard, born in 1996 in Vitry-sur-Seine, started on YouTube in 2008 and launched his own channel in 2011. He was the youngest French YouTuber to pass a million subscribers, at 17. At 19 he sold his stake in the agency Talent Web for 4 million euros, and later started his own influencer agency, Bump.
His messiest chapter was 2018. He tweeted about YouTubers accused of using their fame to get sexual relations with young female fans, and the post exploded. Several creators were wrongly accused in the fallout. A month later he said he had named no one for legal reasons, which created a witch hunt, and he apologised, saying “Je tiens à m’excuser”.
On the harm check, the record is good. In June 2024, before the snap French elections, he posted an open letter urging followers to vote and warning that voting for a party pushing hatred and fear of others was never a solution. He later told Élise Lucet's show he lost nearly 200,000 subscribers over it and had no regrets. I found nothing from him against LGBTQ+ people, women or the climate, and no pattern of platforming grifters.
The one stain is a boring commercial one. A Paris commercial court ordered him in 2022 to pay a supplier over invoices for his Yoko clothing brand. His company appealed, claiming hidden margins, and the appeal court confirmed the ruling and increased it. The total came to 80,000 euros with penalties and costs, and his lawyer said there would be no further appeal.
The good stuff is real, if mostly generosity with money. In September 2026, at the tenth and final ZEvent charity marathon, he gave 150,000 euros across several fundraisers, which one outlet called the biggest single donation in the event's history. The article doesn't say which charities got it.
The latest drama is pure comedy. For his Ciao Energy drink he paid Lyve for an ad, and Lyve roasted it instead. Squeezie reportedly said he wanted it to be his only ad for the brand ever. No one is cross with him over it, and it shows he can laugh at himself.
