Do we like Logan Paul?
Our score: 5 out of 10. A 2019 gay-for-a-month stumble, a 2017 video he apologised for and a long CryptoZoo fight sit beside a public disagreement with his brother.
Logan Paul was born in Westlake, Ohio, in 1995 and got famous on Vine in 2013, then moved to YouTube vlogging and hit 10 million subscribers in 333 days. From there he went boxing (a draw and a loss to KSI, a tie with Floyd Mayweather), started the Impaulsive podcast, and co-founded Prime Hydration with KSI in 2022. These days he is a WWE regular.
The other long-running mess is CryptoZoo. A 2023 class action accused him of fraud and negligent business practices over the NFT game that never launched, and he and his team denied wrongdoing and blamed the developers. In October 2025 a Texas federal judge adopted a recommendation that Paul exit the case as currently pleaded, so plaintiffs could try again. He is also suing the YouTuber Coffeezilla over claims about CryptoZoo, and a judge heard arguments in June 2026.
On the harm check, the main black mark is January 2019, when he said on his podcast they would attempt to go gay for a month. He later called that a poor choice of words, though he muddied it by saying being gay is cool and never clarified his intent. He also hosted Donald Trump on his podcast in June 2024, which is a platform and not an endorsement in Paul's own words that we could find. No campaigning against trans people, no anti-vax or climate-denial push, turned up in what we read.
In February 2026 his brother Jake called Bad Bunny a fake American during the Super Bowl halftime show. Logan replied on X that he loved his brother but disagreed, adding that Puerto Ricans are Americans. Then in September 2026 the brothers visited the Pentagon, where Hegseth briefly met them, and critics including Kinzinger took aim at it. The report carried no direct reply from Logan to that backlash.
So where do we land? He is no villain, and a 2019 flub and a Pentagon photo-op do not make a harm case. But the forest video, the CryptoZoo fallout and the heavy litigation against critics are why this is a five and not a seven. Keep an eye on the company he keeps this year.
