Do we like Kai (Kim Jong-in)?

Our score: 5 out of 10. Nothing nasty found, but we couldn't check the harm and conduct records properly, so five is a placeholder.

Kai is the stage name of Kim Jong-in, the main dancer of the South Korean group EXO. News outlets describe him as a singer, dancer and actor who also does solo work, and he's the Kai you meant going by the hint.

He finished his mandatory South Korean military service in February 2025, according to ABS-CBN's report on his discharge. That's the most recent big story we could confirm, and it's well over a year old now.

After his discharge he put out solo music, with a mini album reported as due in April 2025. That's a normal career comeback and nothing controversial.

On the harm test, we didn't find anything harmful from him, but we also couldn't open the articles to check properly. We haven't confirmed any statements on LGBTQ+ people, women, migrants or the climate, so we aren't going to pretend to a clean bill of health.

On the good-person side, search snippets suggest fans have donated to children's causes in his name and that he joined a UNICEF campaign. We couldn't open those pages, so we've left them out of the evidence file. Try this one again later for a full rundown.
