Do we like Hồ Ngọc Hà?

Our score: 7 out of 10. Nothing harmful found and some real giving, but the record we could read is thin and one old feud is unresolved.

Hồ Ngọc Hà, known to fans as Hà Hồ, is one of Vietnam's big pop names. She has been in entertainment for about two decades and still pulls a crowd. In early 2026 she went to Milan Fashion Week as a Gucci "Friend of House" and was picked for Marie Claire Vietnam's March cover.

In January 2025 her manager, director Trần Thành Trung, said she simply didn't want to do season two and had no intention of pushing anyone out. Minh Hằng replied under his post that neither was in the wrong. Hà herself hasn't given a fresh public answer, so it stays one person's allegation against another's denial.

On the harm test, we found nothing. Searches for her on LGBTQ+ issues, women, the climate and public health turned up no statements either way, and no pattern of working with people who push harm. That's an absence of evidence in mostly Vietnamese entertainment coverage, so call it a pass on a thin file, not a gold star.

Nothing new on her lately beyond the fashion and fitness coverage. The good stuff is real, though. For her birthday in November 2025 she asked friends to donate instead of giving gifts. That raised 300 million dong for flood-hit families and scholarships, and she gave another 100 million dong to people in Huế and Đà Nẵng.

It's a habit, not a one-off. In 2022 she handed out about 200 million dong in scholarships and gifts to children in the highlands before a concert. She also visited children who are deaf or blind, and said she hoped to make more trips like it.

So: would we support her? Mostly yes. There's no harm on the record and a decent giving streak, and the only real question mark is a feud nobody has settled. A bigger body of her own words on the things we care about would get her a higher score.
