Do we like Helen Haines?

Our score: 8 out of 10. A clean voting record on trans rights, hate speech, climate and integrity, but few personal stories or her own words could be opened, so we stop short of the top marks.

On scandals, there is nothing to tell. No court cases, no accusations and no dodgy dealings turned up in the sources we could read, and that is honestly the whole list. We couldn't open many full profiles this round, so treat that as a thin record rather than a spotless one.

On the harm check she does very well. She consistently voted for transgender rights and protections, for increasing legal protections for LGBTI people, and for criminalising hate speech and hate symbols. She also consistently voted for reproductive bodily autonomy, for decreasing the gender pay gap, and for limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees.

So would we support her? Yes. Nothing harmful turned up, and on what she has actually done in parliament she is on the side we care about. We'd just like more of her own words before giving her a full ten.

Queue a list of names

One name per line (or split with commas), up to 100 at a time. They're checked a few at a time in the background and land on the scoreboard as they finish. Names already on the board are skipped.

Add names here for the team to review: famous people, characters or companies, one per line (up to 20). We check the ones we pick, and they land on the scoreboard.
