Do we like Jeep?
Maker of SUVs and off-road vehicles (Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, Avenger), based in Toledo, Ohio, US.
Our score: 5 out of 10. We can't back Jeep with confidence. Our search hit a usage limit, so we couldn't check its recalls, fines, emissions record or labour record.
Jeep is the off-road SUV brand owned by Stellantis. Stellantis moved Antonio Filosa into the Jeep CEO job in late 2023, replacing Christian Meunier. Before that he ran South American operations and was credited with the Pernambuco plant in Brazil, which made Brazil Jeep's biggest market outside the US.
In May 2025 Stellantis named Filosa its new CEO to replace Carlos Tavares, who left after falling US sales. Filosa took over the CEO powers on June 23, 2025. Coverage says he expanded Jeep in Europe, where models like the Avenger sell well.
Our search for recalls, fines and court cases failed, so we can't say how Jeep treats customers, workers or the environment. With no evidence either way we've given a middling score, and we'd want those checks done before backing them.
