Do we like Ramsay Bolton?
A character from Game of Thrones (2013-2016)
Our score: 0 out of 10. No. He's a gleeful sadist who treats people as playthings, and the show built him to be hated. We wouldn't back him for a second.
Ramsay first appears as Ramsay Snow, the bastard son of Roose Bolton, lord of the Dreadfort in the North. House Bolton is known for its flayed-man banner and its cold, ruthless rule. Ramsay is charming on the surface, but he is soon shown to be a cruel, unpredictable sadist.
Across the series, he's the show's most hated villain. He deceives his enemies, humiliates anyone beneath him, and treats pain as entertainment. He is clever and brave enough to be dangerous, but he has no loyalty, empathy or restraint, which is why he scores a flat zero.
His worst deeds come after he breaks Theon Greyjoy and rebrands him as 'Reek', then marries Sansa Stark and abuses her. He is finally defeated in 'Battle of the Bastards' and meets a grim end at Sansa's hands, which many viewers saw as deserved.
