Do we like Mr. Incredible?
A character from The Incredibles (2004)
Our score: 8 out of 10. Yes, we'd back him. He's a loving, brave dad whose flaws are pride and restlessness, and he always tries to do right by the people he loves.
Bob Parr was once the world's most beloved superhero, Mr. Incredible. When lawsuits and public backlash push superheroes into hiding, he settles into a cramped insurance job with his wife Helen and their three kids. He is a decent, devoted family man, but he is bored and misses being useful.
He is strong and brave, and he has a real moral core. He can't walk past someone in trouble. His faults are human ones: stubborn pride, a tendency to charge in alone, and trouble admitting when he's wrong or when he needs help.
We score him high because his heart is always in the right place. He puts people first, and the story is largely about him learning that his family is his greatest strength. The property damage and bad judgment keep him from a perfect ten.
