Do we like Katsuki Bakugo?

Our score: 7 out of 10. Abrasive, loud and rude, but brave, hardworking and honest. We'd back him, as long as we're standing behind him and not in his way.

Bakugo is a student in the hero course at U.A. High. He has a powerful explosion Quirk, top grades and a huge ego. He grew up alongside Izuku Midoriya, whom he looked down on for years, so Izuku's rise as a hero-in-training hits his pride hard.

He is brash, foul-mouthed and competitive, and he treats nearly everyone as an obstacle. Underneath that he is disciplined, smart in a fight and unwilling to quit. He holds himself to the same harsh standard he sets for others, and he hates the idea of being saved.

The score reflects the gap between how he acts and what he does. His early bullying is a real mark against him, but he keeps working, keeps showing up when it counts, and slowly learns that being the best means more than winning. He is rough company, but he is dependable when it matters.
