Our score: 9 out of 10. Yes, we'd back her. She's relentlessly helpful, kind, and upbeat, and she does the job without any scheming. Her worst habit is a slightly chaotic morning announcement.

Isabelle is a Shih Tzu who works as a secretary in the Animal Crossing series. She first appeared in New Leaf, where she helps the player, as the town's mayor, run things. In New Horizons she works at Resident Services and assists Tom Nook.

Her role is to keep the town organised and the villagers informed. She reads the morning announcements, handles town ordinances and flags, and greets you with a bright, eager personality. She is a bit scatterbrained at times, but she always means well.

She scores a 9 because she's steadfastly kind, dependable, and drama-free, and she asks for nothing in return. The only thing stopping a perfect score is that she mostly supports the story rather than driving it.
