Do we like Frieza?
A character from Dragon Ball Z (1989–1996)
Our score: 1 out of 10. No. He's cruel, vain and cheerfully genocidal, and his good manners make it worse. We'd back whoever opposes him.
Frieza is the emperor of a galactic empire. He sells planets to the highest bidder and uses a powerful army to enforce his rule. He speaks politely to everyone, including those he is about to destroy. The Saiyans, Vegeta among them, serve him as soldiers.
He arrives in the story as the strongest villain yet, and his search for the Dragon Balls (wish-granting relics) brings him into conflict with Goku and his friends. His power is matched by his arrogance. He assumes he can never really be beaten.
He scores 1 out of 10 because he is cruel by choice, enjoys his power over others and shows no loyalty. His calm, refined manner makes him one of anime's most memorable villains, but nobody should back him.
