Do we like Ciri?
A character from The Witcher (2019–)
Our score: 8 out of 10. Yes, we'd back her. She's brave, stubborn and kind. She's also a frightened kid with a dangerous power, and you'd want to stand between her and everyone hunting her.
Ciri is the crown princess of Cintra, a kingdom that falls to invaders at the start of the story. She is the granddaughter of the formidable Queen Calanthe. She also carries the mysterious Elder Blood, which makes her sought after by kings, mages and monsters alike.
Fate has tied her to Geralt, a monster-hunting witcher, since before she was born. She goes on the run, learning to survive in a harsh world. She is young and impulsive, and she can be sharp-tongued, but she is warm-hearted and has a strong sense of right and wrong.
We score her high because she keeps choosing decency in a brutal world and keeps her loyalty to the few people she trusts. She loses a point or two for reckless choices and for the chaos her powers can cause when she can't control them.
