Do we like Bulma?
A character from Dragon Ball (1984–present)
Our score: 8 out of 10. Yes. She's brash and vain, but she's brilliant, brave and loyal. She's also the reason the heroes keep getting where they need to go.
Bulma is a sixteen-year-old inventor and the daughter of a famous scientist. She builds a radar to find the seven Dragon Balls, which can grant any wish. She wants a boyfriend. On the road she meets Son Goku, a country boy with enormous strength, and he joins her quest.
She's the group's brains and its resources. She builds the gadgets, supplies the money and the vehicles, and often stops the fighters from blundering. She's also vain, impatient and quick to snap. She is no fighter, yet she keeps walking into danger with a sharp tongue and real courage.
We back her because she is the heart and the support system of the whole saga. Her flaws are the funny, human kind, and her loyalty never really wavers. An 8 out of 10.
