Do we like Bob Belcher?
A character from Bob's Burgers (2011–present)
Our score: 9 out of 10. Yes, we'd back him. He's an honest, hardworking dad who puts his family first and cares more about a good burger than a quick buck.
Bob Belcher owns and cooks at Bob's Burgers, a small, always-struggling seaside restaurant. His wife Linda and their kids Tina, Gene and Louise work there with him. The show follows the family's daily scrapes: money worries, nosy landlords, rival restaurateurs and the kids' wild ideas.
Bob is the sensible, anxious one in a chaotic household. He's a talented cook who names his daily specials with terrible puns, and he takes real pride in his food. He's not great at the business side, and his luck is usually bad. He complains a lot, but he nearly always ends up helping the people he loves.
That's why he scores so high. He isn't a flashy hero, and he's often grumpy, awkward or in over his head. But he's honest, he shows up for his family, and he's kinder than he lets on. Compared with many other cartoon dads, he's a good one to have in your corner.
