Do we like Ahsoka Tano?
A character from Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008-present)
Our score: 9 out of 10. Yes, we'd back her. She's brave, loyal and honest, and she keeps doing the right thing even when the people she trusted let her down.
Ahsoka is introduced in the 2008 Clone Wars film. Yoda assigns the 14-year-old Padawan to Anakin Skywalker. She is cheeky, impulsive and fiercely loyal, and Anakin has to teach her patience while she teaches him a few things back. Over the series she matures into a capable leader of clone troopers.
Her later story continues in Star Wars Rebels, where she secretly helps the Rebel crew of the Ghost under the codename "Fulcrum". Rosario Dawson plays her in live action in The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett and the 2023 Ahsoka series. There she reunites with Hera Syndulla and Sabine Wren to search for the missing Ezra Bridger and Thrawn.
We score her 9 because she is consistently principled. She questions rigid authority, protects the people around her, and passes on what she has learned. She is not perfect: she can be stubborn, and she carries a lot of guilt and doubt. That makes her feel real, and she is one of the most trustworthy characters in the galaxy.
