Do we like Addison Rae?

Our score: 7 out of 10. A decent record on harm and a record that is thinner than most on the good-person side, with one old stain she has since acted against.

Addison Rae is a pop singer now, and her live show has grown into a proper theatrical production. A Dublin review in June 2026 called the set a high-energy, theatre-level pop spectacle, built on Diet Pepsi and a Charli XCX remix. The same review noted she may never be seen as a flawless live singer.

The old stain is from 2020. A video resurfaced showing she had reposted a clip in which a woman called Black Lives Matter a cult and said all lives matter. She apologised on Twitter, writing “All lives CANNOT matter until Black lives do.” She also said she would keep learning and urged fans to support the movement.

The Trump moment is the other one people bring up. She met him at a UFC fight, and fans were cross about it. She later said, “I don't support Trump,” and that introducing herself did not mean she stood behind anything he condones. That's her own word, and we found no donation or endorsement that cuts against it.

On the harm check, we found no campaigning against LGBTQ+ people, women or anyone else, and no conspiracy-theory slide. We also found nothing of hers on trans rights in either direction, so that part is silence rather than a pass on a stated position. An apology alone wouldn't clear the 2020 repost, but her acts since point the other way. In June 2025 she posted an Instagram Story criticising ICE raids in Los Angeles and pointed followers to a legal aid group.

The recent thing is the best illustration. When a Homeland Security video used Diet Pepsi, she reportedly filed a copyright claim and the media was disabled across multiple platforms. The IBTimes report didn't quote her on the claim itself. Where you land depends on whether you see a songwriter protecting her work or a pop star making a political point. Either way, the song stayed out of that video.

On the good-person side, we can't say much that's bad or much that's brilliant. We didn't find reporting we could open that shows her treating co-stars, staff or fans badly. We also couldn't open sources on charity work, so we won't claim any here. That's honestly the whole list.
